​Our products do not contain phthalates, DEA, MEA or petroleum based oils to ensure products maintain consistency. We are 100% organic. Therefore, our body butters are sensitive to temperature changes and can soften or even melt in hot environments. Once you receive your body butter in the mail, do not keep it in direct sunlight for am extended period of time and move it to a location with a temperature under 80°F. If a body butter has softened or melted please place it in the refrigerator for an hour. The melting will not affect the quality of body butter, but the whipped consistency will change, it will become more like a body balm.


During hot weather, Silk Skin Body Bakery will do our best to protect products from melting during transit.

We thoroughly check every product before it is packed for shipping.
We package our body butters with ice packs without an additional charge.
